Bodyshop – Prevent and protect shoulder injuries with yoga

Corpore Sano’s own Kari Studley (also a Certified Yoga Teacher) will be leading the Bodyshop series of yoga classes at Leela Yoga Studio in Downtown Bothell. The first class is this Sunday, October 26th; 1-3pm.

Did you know that the Rotator Cuff is not a shoulder muscle, but a group of 4 muscles that work together for smooth shoulder movement? How can you best protect your joints to accommodate and prevent injury? What is the best way to customize your yoga practice and class participation to your body? Corpore Sano physical therapist and CYT, Kari Studley, PT, DPT will share her expertise on human anatomy, common yoga practice injuries and how best to individualize yoga practice to prevent and protect your joints for lifelong practice.

Bodyshop format will feature a short lecture on the shoulder followed by a shoulder joint focus yoga class.
